Behold! My third and latest game.

In this game, you must attempt to reach the exit of each stage by taking advantage of your main ability: The ability to move certain blocks using your mind.

You can ride the blocks across chasms.

You can take advantage of several different types of block, such as these purple ones, which are immune to gravity.

Face a variety of interesting obstacles, such are force fields that affect blocks and your powers.

If you're worried about greyness, don't worry. There are other tilesets in later areas.

Game is currently 41 levels long.

Note:
Can't believe I skipped over this for so long. The platforming engine and such was made by Matt Thorson (http://mattmakesgames.com/), with alterations made by myself.

Update 01:

Tons. I've polished up the engine a bit, added several new elements, including elements that stop blocks but not you, elements that stop blocks and your ability to take them over(but doesn't stop ones you've already connected to.), two new block types, and a couple new levels! Most of the time was spent on actual features, because it'll be much easier to make levels once everything is done. I made the exits much larger in a attempt to make them stand out. So, newest version, with 7 levels and many hours of creative programming:

Seemed like a cool game.
The one think i didn't like is that you had to click.
with the arrows and z/x you have both hands on the keyboard then you have to let go to use the mouse.

Maybe you should have wasd with w to jump and s to use your mind? then you have a hand free to use the mouse.

I noticed that too, and even though of basically the same solution, but the problem is that down/S is already "drop though jumpthrough platforms." Maybe E could be Kinesis... That would work, probably. I'll give it a try.

Edit:
Doesn't feel that natural. However, I tried the shift key, and that seems to work really well.

New version with this changed:

I'm not sure if i like shift. But i like that better so far.

Also i got an error:

Quote
ERROR in
action number 1
of Collision Event with object obj_player
for object obj_exit:

Error in code at line 1:
   room = rm_8;

at position 8: Unknown variable rm_8

It was the horizontal vertical box room. Right as i hit the exit this popped up.

That's not an actual error, you've simply reached the end of the current version. There's no fail safe because it won't be required once the game is done.

Keep it up. If i wasn't so busy i would offer help with the art.

1. A friend came up with it.
2. No idea. I wish more people would.

I've tried it. I think it's a lot of fun.

A few things:

-The "skip level" key us too close to the telekenesis key. I've accidentally skipped a few levels.
-In "First Real Level," I can cheat by double-jumping while falling from the top.
-The cracked blocks are really dark. It's hard to tell them apart from the normal walls.
-Everything is so... Gray  Noir

Anyway, it's got a solid engine, and some really clever puzzles so far. I'm interested in seeing what you can do with the basic elements of the game.

The skip level key is something that won't be in the final version, so this isn't something that desperately needs to be fixed, but I guess I could switch it to something else.

-"Grey": Graphics aren't really done yet. Hopefully I'll have tilesets or something later.

The Cracked blocks were even worse before. I actually noticed it and made the cracks a little lighter. It could be touched up a bit more, I suppose.

"First Real Level"

Err... wow. Gonna have to fix that.

New version!

I added a level select screen, which for the moment has absolutely no locks. You can visit any level you like. There are a couple new features added, and I made a few engine tweaks, so I think it's finally done and perfect.

Updated Version! We're up to twenty levels! I added a couple new features and have made more engine fixes! I keep spotting bugs, but I can't do ti all myself. I'm not clever or bored enough to notice everything.

I have played a few levels of this. So far I have encountered no problems with gameplay, which is interesting.

That's because I keep finding and fixing them. Many times I've spent an hour bug fixing something I originally wrote in about 5 minutes. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to post.

New version. This one was fun. I added teleporters! There's 5 more stages, and blocks that break when you stand on them.
