Backdrops and Magic Spaces

Please join my mood.

Game art has it's roots in theatre.
From the character's, to the backdrops which their worlds carry out.
As we know - these worlds don't always look as we imagine them to..
But sometimes, this charms becomes the factor which we love the most.

Above is a picture of Sora standing in a forest.
Below it is a picture of Sora slouching by an overshadowing forest's wall.

The big highlight here is a question.. When making a forest ..
"How do I make it feel like the player is under a forest, and not in one."
This trick is how!

Now, a reminder to you of The Oldest trick in the book.. MAGIC SPACES.
Those pesky houses that are WAY bigger on the inside than the outside.

Making a dream is different than having one.
When our mind leave us.. and we start chasing what we make.. I'll tell you the secret (and get in trouble for it)
The figment fairies run away on purpose.
Time turns to dreams. And then we fight in dreams.
See the tiny imitation light in your starry head that jog through the worlds in your heart.
Remember those places that you felt like you could never draw?
Well maybe because.. they were undraweable! Not fully figmenteable. Maybe because you were starting in the evil persons zone and hadn't found your hero to help you think for yourself in the world long enough to draw that which you were looking at. Stuff takes effort y'know, hire some good player heroes too when you get the chance.

The important thing to remember is that if you can draw a friend on a piece of paper..
And put a door next to him.. That he can go into it - and go anywhere.

I hope you appreciate my writing.
Magic escapes us sometimes.

Post-note:

Our worlds kind of go like this in games.. leaving more room for tricks.
