I'm making a throwback to the Gameboy style, and I need sound effects! We're looking for a Sound Designer to make authentic gameboy sounds for jumps, boops, blips, explosions, and dialog chiptunes! Experience would be appreciated, but we'd be more than happy to learn with you as long as you can synthesize authentic Gameboy sounds.
Our game is going to be a de-make of A Hat in Time, with aHiT powers taking the place of classic Mario powerups so each power will add unique movement options to Hat Kid that can pass levels in different ways. The goal is to bridge modern and retro sensibilities and blend them into a fast-paced cocktail of platformer fun and non-stop experimentation!
Disclaimer!!! We don't A Hat in Time (obviously), so this is a passion project with a lot of visibility, and we'd love your help!
