Demo Build

Spell Beats is a spellcaster with rhythm. Parry and dash melee attacks while rhythmically casting magical spells. This game might be difficult to get used to at first since it mixes rhythm spell-casting and elements of melee combat such as parrying and dashing. It is a multi-tasking challenge, which might be its biggest issue.

I enjoy constructive criticism. If you think there is something wrong, then I would like this game torn apart. Learning about what you like would be great too, but I feel like if I can fix the major issues, then that is where I would like to focus first. One of the biggest problems I can see is how the players learn to simultaneously master the rhythm aspect while also trying to defeat an enemy.
