Hi.
I have an idea for a first-person rpg inspired by Arx fatalis, Hexen, TES and Dark Messiah.
The idea looks ambitious, but I have a plan to make this game in 1.5 - 2 years. I've already done the basic mechanics, now I'm refining them.
You will play as a hero facing dangers in the underworld, surviving and solving problems in unusual ways.

This does look intriguing! And your list of inspirations is quite a venerable one!

If I may ask, how heavy do you intend the "survival" elements to be? Will players have to carefully manage hunger, tiredness, etc., or is it simply a matter of being in a hostile environment?

I thought a lot about it and decided I didn't want to make the hunger mechanics too intrusive.
Now I decided that the hero will have a lot of health, but it will be restored only from cooked food. But this is still a thought, maybe I will go back to normal hunger.
I don't think survival elements should take up most of the time, but they should be necessary.

I will be sharing with you how the development of the game is going.
Today I finished Level Blockout for the whole game. The game will have 8 locations, many of which are connected to each other. There will be 2 settlements with NPCs and access to the surface.
Now I'll get to the logic of the levels. Closed doors, keys hidden under pillows, traps, poison for poisoned food, etc.

Now there is a demo available on Steam, I made it to test the performance and run the game on different computers.
There are VERY many bugs in the demo, as development is still in progress.
The demo will be updated along with the development of the game.
Basically, the demo is made for those who want to test the performance of his computer and get acquainted with the concept of the game.
