Hey everyone! I'm currently working on the first game I'm hoping to actually release on Steam. I've been building the game using GameMaker Studio 2 and writing it in GML (the coding language of the engine.)
In terms of what I've accomplished vs what else I want, I currently have the basic game up and running with a decently fleshed out idea of the concept, light platformer with a heavy emphasis on dodging and timing. I am trying to cater the game to speedrunners and will incorporate the steam leaderboard API. For what I have yet to to accomplish, I'm going to include more art (but not too much more) a total of 30 or so levels, and possibly bosses, but I'm not sure yet.
I'm hoping to just get as much honest feedback as I can. Thanks!
