Hi Everyone!

I'm currently trying to get the media's attention to my game, Tape Recovery Simulator 96K.

I have been contacting magazines, websites and blogs from the lists below (great resources btw):
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1R6UsXU_VeE4zhms4t0b1vwbbn7Fv5Z1TRlYsrfLghXc/edit#gid=1810066597
https://blog.feedspot.com/video_game_news/

A few of them were eager to publish info about my game while a few others focused only on reviews.

Anyone willing to share experiences of websites that published news or previews about their game ? I'm hoping they'll also like TRS96K Smiley

Thank you in advance

Thank you Papacubec for your response and for your links. I didn't know a couple of them.

But I was thinking something more in the lines of press coverage. Also considering that currently there is no kit available for TRS96K (I'm slowly getting there).

A good example would be this:

or, if you if you excuse my small self-promotion Smiley :

Hi Papacubec,

Ideally you should start promoting your game as soon as you have a couple of screenshots, and far before it's ready to be sold.
This is what typical AAA games do; they release a few screenshots or a trailer and the gaming magazines create news or previews based on the little data that's available.

TRS96K is still in development, getting ready for the early access. There is no steam page yet, but it's probably going to be created in the next few weeks.

For now, I'm looking at the spikes in traffic on the CWG website, youtube, twitter whenever someone publishes info about TRS96K.
