I'm getting ready for the steam demo festival and would appreciate your thoughts
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1331390/sfre/

sfäre is a relaxing toy. It started out as a bullet pattern generator made in Javascript. I decided to experiment with Unity, as it seemed like a simple starting point. Turns out Unity is not that great for dynamic input, unlike Javascript (who would have guessed). So I decided to create some weird controls (the spheres) to allow users to play with the parameters. The spheres have the drawback that it's not so easy to understand what you are doing, you have to "feel" it.

If you feel like feeling the touch controls, it's in open beta on mobile too:

Android - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=space.spherience.app
iOS Testflight - https://testflight.apple.com/join/GH71fwhx

I had to admit the controls feel better with touch, so recently I started experimenting with a "boring" Editor using sliders and values for a desktop version. This editor can be reached using the button at the bottom left in the web edition.

Hi there,

I just tried your app on my phone.

Visually stunning I must say.

Only the tutorial gave me some trouble because the "pinch" gesture on the upper right sphere kept triggering the slide in (home/back..) menu of the OS. I admit that I couldn't quite figure out what the upper left sphere does. The image was moving out off screen some times. I know you can zoom in and out but some "auto zoom" would have helped me a lot (clumsy fingers :D). I got the "tap twice" thing to recenter but it seemed bugging out on me some times (no effect).

Thank you for sharing Smiley

Hello!

I just tried out the demo on steam, and I must say, it was quite the experience! I loved the visuals and the music and audio design were stunning! I had some doubts about what each button/sphere did at the start but I eventually (I think) figured it out! It's a relaxing experience and I had a great time messing around with the settings, changing the size, speed, etc. Great job!
