Intro
My name is Salvatore Carannante, I am a pianist, composer, and sound designer.
I graduated in the "Classical Piano" and "Electronic Music" courses at the Music Conservatory of Naples, Italy.
I work as a freelance composer, arranger, piano session recorder, and sound designer.

My main musical expression is piano and orchestral music, both in its pure form but also in combination with electronic and experimental elements. I write music in numerous genres ranging from classic to electronic/experimental music.
My main influences came from composers like Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Alan Silvestri, H. G. Williams, and major 8-900's composers like Strawinsky, Ravel, Debussy.
As Sound Designer, my sound projects aim to convert some common objects into musical instruments.
I often looking for environments with particular acoustic reflections in which I play these instruments, following the human-instruments-environment interaction.
