Hi.

Anybody here remember a 3D Tetris game called BlockOut ?    Hand Joystick   Hand Clap

I played it a lot 1989-1990 and totally forgot it.
Now I found it and I am still a master at it.
Just google: blockout online
to find some to try.

There is a version in open source in C/C++ called BlockOut2.
There you can upload your score to a global scoreboard and I am rank 28 on level: Out of control.
Anybody here who can challenge me?

There are many versions who can be played online with DOSbox,
to be able to play the original code in your browser and some work quite ok.

Yeah I remember it. I had the full version, but wasn't good at it, although I'm a pretty fast Tetris player.

A while ago I discovered Nyet III - Revenge of the Mutant Stones, which is a pretty silly version of Tetris.

I played so much of it Smiley It is really hard and has some really non intuitive block shapes at times.

I played this one a bunch in college on the emulator. It was sort of possible to predict what your opponent would do because it was the same pieces and you could screen look.

I never had a computer myself but I played this at school around grade 5/6. Also had some game show games and Cross Country Canada on there.
