Hello! I'm Isabella or WithAOne, a developer with roughly nine years of experience making video games but none in the field due to all jobs I've found requiring a degree and previous work experience.
I'm looking for any sort of paid remote game development job or work. I've worked on all sorts of gameplay genres and many different systems, such as collision resolution, AI (GOAP, A*, Behaviour Trees), and Procgen Algorithms (IK, Cellular Automata, Wang Tiles, Knowledge Maps). I have experience in Unity, GameMaker, C#, Lua, and LOVE2D; but I can easily learn new engines and languages. I also do pixel art and animation but more on the side. Additionally, if any design work is needed, I've been designing levels, gameplay systems, monetization structures, and more if need be.
Again though; no degree, no certifications, so on, so on. Hopefully, that wouldn't matter with my experience but I totally understand not liking that sort of risk. Partially because of this (and partially because I'm just trying to not have to do fast food and retail) whatever is paid doesn't matter too much to me as long as it's reasonable, even just to get something solid on my portfolio. Additionally, I get indies not having too much budget so I'm super flexible payment-wise (no rev-share though, sorry).
