The battle system is unique. Mixing platformer and rpg is interesting.

I went back to the residential area (the area I've shown you in a few of the past devlogs) and made a new little NPC scene!
(I spent the past week also connecting a lot of the new rooms I made together while also fixing bugs and polishing random stuff around the game!)

I started working on another new enemy that you will encounter while playing! Its name is Forgi. It will have 2 different attacks!
I will elaborate a little more about Forgi with some new attacks on the next devlog!

Here are a few of the new enemy's attacks! Its name is Forgi. The name comes from the word Forge, to symbolize its love for using hammers in its daily life!

Finally, I began working on the first boss for Astromeda! It's a fight against a character you meet in the game called Actobacter! Here is one of his attacks!

Since Actobacter is a boss enemy, he has many different unique attacks!

*WORK ON THE FINAL ASTROMEDA DEMO BOSS HAS BEGUN!*

I first made the boss's standing animation during battle!

The idea I had behind this movement is that the boss, (His name is Per) is a bacteria that has DNA that is similar to fox DNA. In my head, this character should have fast arms and legs in battle and this battle pose animation just sort of works Shrug


I've been working hard on Per's attack animations too, but I want to keep those visuals for the next Devlog. I already have some of it done, and I think it came out REALLY good! :D
