Hi, all. Though this isn't a game, it's a paid opportunity for game programmers who've worked with large assets or large repos in Perforce, SVN, or Git.

Haberdasher (https://www.haberdashervcs.com) is a modern, Git-like version control system for huge code repos. We're seeking testers to try out the set-up flow and the basic branch/commit/push workflow.

Hi! What is a large repo? Does a full 2d platformer game repo is pretty large?

Hi, for example a large repo is anything where you'd run up against the limitations of Git. If your project is solo, then the most likely limitation is checking in large binary assets like art, models, music, level maps, that kind of thing. So in solo projects, it comes down to large files.
