Hello! Finders Sweepers is a "reverse Minesweeper" game where you follow colorful numbers to find buried treasure. It's a wholly unique concept as far as we can tell, so pre-launch testing is incredibly important and valuable to make sure the idea is not only fun, but marketable as well.
We just soft-launched Finders Sweepers and we are gathering data and feedback specific to the game's tutorial, progression, and mechanics. If you're in Canada or the Philippines, you can find it in the app stores right now. If you're outside of our test market, there is an iOS TestFlight and Google Play Beta linked below.
Thank you for your help and interest!

ExceptioNull Games is formed by programmers and artists who have been making cell phone games since 2011. Finders Sweepers is our fifth shipped game under this label.
As always, we dedicate ourselves to injecting humor into established genres while adding our own modern twists and maintaining a high performance profile. Finders Sweepers is made in Cocos2d-x using cpp, and is animated in Spine by Esoteric Software.
Win by finding all the treasure in a level. Unlike Minesweeper, the goal is not to flag bombs for disposal.
Tap the playfield to dig, exposing a circle of dirt. Numbers in the dirt indicate how many treasures are in a square around that number.
The color of the number indicates what kind of treasure is nearby. These colors correspond to the goals at the top of the screen. Numbers can have more than one color within them, indicating treasures of different types in the vicinity.
Treasure chests and their keys are scattered throughout the game. Keep the color of each chest in mind as you progress, as the chest may contain an objective of a color not obvious on the playfield.
As you progress, you will encounter black numbers. This indicates a booby trap is nearby. Tripping too many traps will end your run and require you to start over.
Like Minesweeper, you can flag suspect coordinates with a long tap. However, you still must find all of the treasure in your list to complete the level.
Keep playing! More interesting mechanics await you, such as having to herd a flock of sheep to access new areas, or ice and gravel blocks that crumble when you find items adjacent to them.
Please give us your most detailed, BRUTAL feedback. It is literally impossible to hurt our feelings. We want to make the best, most fun game in the world, so don't hold back!
