What is it?
A single-level 2D platformer. Play as Nova, a rabbit that must defend her home from invading aliens with the power of goop.

How far along is it?
See message icon.

Any screenshots?

Bump. Updated the screenshots with more up to date. Backgrounds, climbing, crawling, power-ups, collectibles, and more have been added the past month or so.

Bump. I added some Power-ups. The Rock power up makes you hard as a rock and can allow you to take a hit without losing health. The wave powerup lets you create a shockwave when you do a slam attack, and the wing powerup lets you glide.

Pause menu is freshened up some by adding graphics. BG is definitely subject to change, also moving my pause menu code to its own object rather than using the display object due to issues.

A bit of an update. Decided to switch engines to Unity. Here’s a video of progress so far.

I love modern-retro style games! It might help make a more cohesive style if you constrain yourself to a specific color palette, and maybe throw in some less saturated colors as well. Good luck!

The game went through a few changes. Nova now throws goop instead of punching. Also, the alien now moves and shoots, though it’s a bit buggy.

Music and sounds were implemented and I think it’s safe to say this single-level game is done. I’ll let you know when a release date is decided.
