I'm very excited to announce that after many months of hard work, the alpha version of my browser-based interior design game, Lula's Cape, is now available to play! You can play it right in your browser at https://www.lulascape.com/. Go check it out and let me know what you think!

Hi there!

I launched the game, and had a couple of issues:

* The dialog for getting and entering your room code, on my browser, was scrunched all the way to the bottom right corner of the browser window, where I couldn't really interact with it. As a result I couldn't successfully enter my room code when exploring.

* The game flow (for guest, at least) might need more "handholding" -- several times I seemed to accidentally restart the game after not knowing what to do next, by clicking the "play" button on the top left hand corner menu.

* If buildings are supposed to populate into the village view, it might be a good idea to have a couple of pre-existing buildings to know what I'm supposed to aim for, if I happened to explore the village first (and not straightaway start building my own room)

* I didn't notice any music or sound effects, and I think that is crucial for this type of game which I think is supposed to illicit a certain atmosphere and mood.

Several things I liked:

* The artistic style is gorgeous. The titular character with her blindfold and the singular eye is intriguing, I wanted to play the game to understand how it

* The room builder is exciting, I liked how you can position fixtures and they dynamically position themselves in the right z index

* Being able to walk around and explore is exciting. I would like to see more of that!

Thanks so much for all of this great feedback! I love all of the recommendations you gave!
As far as that room code bug, my friend was experiencing the same -- really weird stuff. I'll have to do a deep dive into the code to figure out what's wrong. Thanks again so much for the feedback!
