[Gadget Gaming Studios]

BuildCraft is a game similar to Minecraft Classic where you just Build. You can build anything your heart desires with 18 different blocks to choose from the possibilities are endless

Controls

W to move forward

S to move backwards

A to move to the left

D to move to the right

0-9 on your keyboard for original blocks

backspace for Cobblestone

minus for logs

shift for leaves

home for yellow cloth

insert for white cloth  

delete for purple cloth

tab for grey cloth

alt for green cloth

end for brick

First get python from python.org then after you downloaded in go into your command prompt or terminal and type pip or pip3 install ursina then press enter.

After that is done downloading type in pip or pip3 install perlin-noise  then press enter.

After the packages are installed close out of your command prompt or terminal then open the BuilldCraft folder then click buildcraft.py and have fun.

I'd recommend including a link to the game's itch page in your post. I was able to find it with an internet search, but there were no screenshots and the only video was marked private. Along with the extra steps of installing python and packages, that's a lot of barriers between reading this post and actually playing the game!

it would be nice if you made this an exe you know so you could play it easier, well its a good game!

I am currently working on making it an exe file but there are some bugs that will need to be fixed first

I have released a Test version so you can play 0.6 and test it out ( note: some things like jumping up 2 blocks has been removed )

Removed the ability to jump up 2 full blocks

Changed the Build Limit from 90 blocks to 295 blocks

Made hills bigger

Changed the Player Height to 2 blocks tall instead of 2.5 blocks tall

Changed the Player speed to match the current Minecraft Sprinting speed

BuildCraft 0.6 will fully be released as an exe for windows but you have to keep it in the folder because if it is not in the folder the textures will not load properly. Every time you load up the game you will get an error saying there is something duplicated, do not worry just keep clicking a few times and the game will load up ( this is a bug that I will need to fix ). The sky is not working properly and I do not know how to fix it if you have any idea how to fix it that will be appreciated The game will be released on my page https://aidanlovesminecraft.itch.io/buildcraft

BuildCraft 0.6 has now been released on my itch.io page. It is now an executable but it must stay in the folder. The sky no longer works properly so there will be new sky textures in the next version.

Controls for BuildCraft 0.6

W to move forwards

S to movebackwards

D to move to the right

A to move to the left

0-9 for most block types

Q-U for other block types

Minus for logs

Backspace for cobblestone


Changes in 0.6

You can no longer jump up 2 full blocks

The player height is now 2 blocks tall rather than 2.5 blocks tall

The world size has been increased by 25 blocks in each direction

You can now press Shift and Q to close the game

Note: Every time you load up the game you will get an error " WARNING File Already Exists But Should Not " just click ok a few times then the game will start
