Hi again, Tigsource people Smiley

I am looking for experienced chiptune musician that can do rearrangement of existing song.
The game is a remake of a classic game, hence it is a rearrangement rather than composing a new song from scratch. Please note that I am not able to reveal which game this is until we have signed an NDA.

The style I'm looking for is chiptune + 80s Japanese anime OST + Kung fu/action.

The deadline is quite tight, so I might split the work up to different musician, but this also means I might work with multiple musician at once.

And if you're wondering what the game looks like, it has a visual styling very similar to this Avengers mock up I did previously.

Interested applicant, please leave a line here and please share link to your past work and highlight what might be relevant. I will likely PM you, so please keep an eye out for it Smiley

Howdy!

I'm a chiptune specialist who has done arrangements in an 8 bit style in the past, I'm interested in hearing more about the project! A beat em up game sounds interesting and I'm a fan of the Fist of the North Star.

Here's a sample of one of my re-arrangements -

Here's my demo reel - https://twitter.com/RyanAndBreezy/status/1478446454712995841

Please feel free to PM me on here or get in touch with me on discord at RyanAvx#7941

Cheers!

Hey there!

The name's R-Man and I'm a composer and guitarist who loves to do energetic fusion and rock inspired by 80s stuff. That track you linked, You Wa Shock, is arranged by Ryo Yonemitsu and I'm a huge fan of his style and use of synths. In fact, I made a Shovel Knight arrangement in that very style:

Here are two other tracks I've worked on with similar vibes, think energetic synth-y rock. One is more on the fusion side:

(Note: I am not a chiptune artist, though I have dabbled in chiptune and would be more than happy to add chiptune elements to the arrangement if that's what you're requesting)

Yeah I can do this sort of high energy chip tune remix, matching the style to various classic platforms (amiga MOD, NES, tg16, ibm pc Adlib, snes, genesis, unreal tournament S3M/XM/IT etc...). Example, a remix of the French intro to Capitain Future aime:

I can do high energy music pretty well:

Hi Rayteoactive!

I am a composer/sound designer who’s been working on indie projects for around 6+ years or so. These days I'm primarily arranging and producing larger orchestral pieces, but my specialty is writing chiptunes. The project looks great and I’d love to learn more.

Here are a few samples of some 8-bit and 16-bit tunes I’ve done before:

Here’s something a bit more recent, in more of a modern style:

I can also do transcriptions very quickly and am very comfortable with re-arrangements/re-orchestrations of existing tunes.

Cheers!

Hi there Rayteoactive! I've been making Game Boy music for over a decade and am expanding my repertoire to work with other sound chips.

I have:

-produced an entire Christmas album in the style of a Wario Land game

-produced a Game Boy cover of the Donkey Kong Country 2 "Mining Melancholy track since it didn't appear in the Game Boy version of the game

-in a buggy Game Boy rom of my own, mashed up melodies from Daft Punk/Queen/Dua Lipa/Steven Universe, arranged the famous "Carmen" aria in the style of a Kirby battle theme, and transcribed sheet music from The Who (under "Audio Mode", tracks 2, 5, and 7)

-rearranged, remixed, and fleshed out the tunes from the recent Homestar Runner game "Marzipan Beef Reverser" -- still in Game Boy, just for fun

-made an 8-bit remix of "Taxman" by the Beatles

-and a long time ago, covered "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" using five Game Boys at once

To say nothing of my Game Boy Orchestra project!

If you'd like to talk to me, feel free to send an email: sloopygoop [at] gmail.com , or PM me!
