Outworlder
Outworlder is a sci-fi, sandbox, colony management game with survival elements and direct NPC control. Establish self-sufficient colonies and fulfill the needs of colonists. Engage in physics based gunplay as you travel the stars. Play with friends in multiplayer!

I'm the project manager for the game Outworlder. We are pretty far along in development and have had a demo version of the game that has our current build of the game that we are developing. We have a real need to expand our playtesters at this point and would love some feedback on the game as it currently stands as well as some more focused testing for new features.

Everyone who gives us some time for playtesting and good feedback to work with will be added in the credits and we're thinking of adding some icons to help people who contributed more so that they can stand out from the other playtesters. You can reach out to me here or over on our Discord: https://discord.gg/7w3PvrCd or if you want to see some of our updates check out our Twitter: https://twitter.com/playoutworlder

Here is my review of the game:

I think it looks pretty good. I really like the graphics and the music.

What I didn't like:
It's very unclear if you can customize your character. You really just get thrown into the game with the only goal to survive. It's not explained how the inventory or the crafting menu works. I couldn't find out how to make a campfire or how to make a crafting table. I was able to figure a lot out by myself but still, I was very confusing. You are also able to mine on top of a raider's base and just camp on their roof while killing them from above.

What I did like:
Except for the unclear instructions, I enjoyed the rest of the gameplay and had fun with it. The fact that you can group your survivors and give them different tasks is very cool.

That's pretty much all I have to say. Definitely a good game overall.

This game looks and feels amazing to play. I'm not an expert at the genre, so maybe this feedback is wrong or I am missing a later gameplay reason for it, but I wondered if there was any reason to prevent the player from climbing while carrying things other than a sense of 'realism'? I was trying to haul a dead rodent (sorry we were hungry) over a mountain and had to periodically put it down and wondered if this was really necessary. Just a thought.
