Would you leave everything you post for posterity or would you clean up and edit your posts to delete old art and game details as the design evolves?

I see some devlogs keeping the first post up to date with new material and I'm tempted to do the same as I've finally locked down most of the game.

I've always liked the idea of keeping all the old stuff intact, so that new readers can see where the game started and its evolutionary steps. What I've sometimes seen is an edited first post with up-to-date information at the top, then a divide with the original first post preserved below. I guess with multiple edits to the first post, some small amount of information might get lost over time, but ideally that would be mostly captured by posts in the middle of the thread.

That said, a devlog is kind of your own space to present your game how you see fit. There's definitely not just one right way to do it!
