Hello there.  I'm Mark, the lead developer behind Seafloor Games (https://seafloorgames.com).  We're looking to contract a pixel artist for Moonlight Pulse, a 2D adventure game that takes place on a giant world-turtle floating through space, where cute animal-like characters are in over their head in a fight against invading alien parasites.  The setting aims to have a surreal vibe, but in a way that's intriguing rather than off-putting.  Basically it's Pokemon characters in a Metroid world.

You would primarily be creating animations for characters and enemies, similar to those shown below.  You'll be working alongside other contracted artists, and your work should fit in with the style already established for the game.

Experience with Unity and Git is a plus but not required.

This is a paid contract position.  While the timeframe is fairly flexible, we're hoping for a contractor that's able to commit 10-20 hours / week.  The rate is negotiable, with $20-$30 / hour being the ballpark.  Payment is done over PayPal, and you can expect to be paid within 24 hours of sending an invoice.

Artists of all race, gender, orientation and age are encouraged to apply.  We're also especially interested in developers that are willing to contribute their own ideas and flavor to the project.

If this position interests you, please contact me at mradocy (at) seafloorgames (dot) com.  Thanks very much for your consideration!
