Hey everybody! Hope you're all doing well.

A brand new public demo for my indie game project, Woten DX - Traveller's Dream, has just gone LIVE on itch.io!

Woten DX - Traveller's Dream is an enhanced and expanded version of Woten, a short and sweet 2D puzzle-platformer that was released exclusively through Humble Bundle’s Humble Originals program a few years ago. If you happen to have access to the old Humble Trove, you can try that version out as well!



Anyway, I'd love to know what you think the new public demo! Comments, criticism, general feedback - whatever comes to mind! Thank you very much.

Wow, really good demo you got there!

The controls are easy to use. The graphic are really well made. The music is amazing. The headbutt mechanic is interesting.

Little questions I have here. In the realese of the game, will it be possible to go back before the bat take us the other side of the wall within one save?

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. Re. your question - yes! I'm planning on implementing a backtracking system within the final game so that players can find things they might have missed the first time around.

edit: Hmm your Readme suggests that it's possible. Is it just my controller that doesn't work?

Yes, the demo has gamepad support! What kind of controller are you using? It's possible that you're experiencing some kind of compatibility issue here.

^ Sony Dualshock 2, or at least that's what it says. I don't remember where I got it. Been using it to game for years and years.
