Simply put, is there a way to embed tweets in forum-posts?

From my experimenting, a simple URL remains as a simple URL, and the HTML embedding-code provided by Twitter seems to not be interpreted by the forum. (In the latter case, at least as far as the preview; I haven't tried actually posting something with such embedding code.)

Considering how bad the embed cards twitter provides are and how twitter seems to be imploding on itself, I'm not sure researching how to do this is a worthy endeavour right now (the embed twitter provides does not embed multiple images and breaks when embedding a video)

If I may ask, why were you hoping to be able to embed a tweet into a forum post anyway? A screenshot and a link would be sufficient for most use cases, I think
