I'm in Texas and I only have till Saturday. I live in Florida. My PC in Florida IS A PIECE OF CRAP AND LA-MULANA RUNS SLOWER THAN MOLASSIS. Anyway, La-Mulana is FREAKISHLY, INCREDIBLY, HARD/FRUSTRATING, but fun. It's like Zelda/Indiana Jones as a 2D platformer. I've been watching DeceasedCrab's videos for help. Anyway, whose playing through it and where are you?

I LOVE this game, it's pretty tough at first as there's no "here's what to do" when you start, in fact I didn't even know how to save until you buy the ROM.  I played it past the first zone and kind of put it down.  I fall through a lot of games though.

I love the fact La-Mulana doesn't spell out everything you can do. Playing a game should be about discovery, not just following directions. Nintendo has gotten very bad with this in recent years, going so far as to highlight what you should do in red text. La-Mulana just drops you off with a pat on the head.

And when you die, your last bit of consciousness will be stuck in an infinite loop replaying a level and failing everytime. You will make a horrible ghost.

On the plus side, your damned soul will get a lot of practice in. One day you might be able to introduce a mortal to it, trading his eternal soul and freedom for your release.

La-Mulana just drops you off with a pat on the head.

I wish to debate the existence of this pat. It is my belief that La-Mulana gives you nothing... it only takes...  Sad
