Greetings! As you might have already known from the introduction channel, I'm working on an ant-based RTS game made with Godot. I'd be happy to share my progress with you all here. Stay tuned if it is something of your interest. Wink

Implementing the Save and Load system in the game. It covers saving/loading of - player details, creatures and other entities of the world and their information including their position, scale etc.

Note: As the game progresses in the future and more functionalities and mechanisms are added with more missions in the game, a better and more complex save/load system needs to be brought into existence.

Worked on the Tutorial Mode.

The level isn't finished yet, but the basic mechanisms are in place. It'd need some content, balances, and final touches before release.

Added Refill Tool to refill dug areas with stored soil.




PS: As you saw, I had not been posting updates for many days. This is because I was busy with my school exams till March. After that, I switched to Godot 4, then worked on some fixes, maintenance and improvements i.e., no 'real' improvements. But now I've more time for another year or two and thus, the developments will hopefully be at the former pace.
