Looks great! The decoration on top is a bit distracting, though. And it looks like the soldiers in the back are shooting through the vehicles?

Yes, I only added the unit collider to those vehicles and I forgot to add the bullet colliders, I was rushing to finish this GIF and hit the bed, sorry about that.
As for the decorations on the top, it's a personal preference so nothing I will do there.

Well because of deadlines, we must finish the game until November, and we still need to make 50% of the game content in 1 month. This deadline is critical for our company right now.


As for Next Fest I don't know what to expect, this is the first time I am participating.


Nice, I think the zoomed out perspective makes some of the scenes look really epic with all the undead streaming in!

Glad you think this way Alain because the major reason my partner remade the engine was for this zoom-in function.

Minor update.

Adding more creepy stuff visuals and mechanics.
All sprites on the map must be placed manually but in the end its worth it.




Heavy Aliens inspiration, this is how the map looks like in the map editor(shadows don't appear in editor but they get generated in the game)

I think we will not be able to finish the game by November so high chance we will release it in Early access and take a risk.

Okay, the first day is over, and we got almost 1k WL.

It was a real nightmare to make the stream on Steam, so much text wall but we managed to pull it off.



Meantime we were also registered in the Dev Play festival and got in the finals for best marketing on a Romanian game  Well, hello there!

Yes I remember Alien Breed, I grew up with those games, although gameplaywise is totally different.

Regarding publishers: we have no intention of associating with a publisher, we do not need a middleman.
I worked with publishers in the past but since 2017 I have been releasing games via self-publish and I sleep a lot better at night.  Well, hello there!

I just made 30 of these maps in the last 2 days, we are really behind deadlines here.
The initial plan was to fully release the game on 16 November but we failed so now we are releasing in EA and plan to make a full release in February.
So EA release build is going to be finished on the same day as the release.
We flushed the critical bugs with the help of our DIscord community private testing + we had a public demo during Steam next fest.

Mostly so far we worked on the engine, mechanics and sprites, but now we finally start to add content

The harder part was the real-time explorable maps, it took me 2 months to make 120 of them.


















And so on...
