I am very new to game development and my wife and I love making this game together. I would like to share a game we have been developing in private for about a year or so. This game is certainly playable, and I've put a lot of work into it, but now I think it's time to reach out to more people to get constructive feedback. I know there are a lot of known bugs, and I've been ironing them out as I go. As this is a huge passion project for me and my wife, I would greatly appreciate your valuable insights and feedback about assets, game direction, story, etc.
About Animal Ark:
Loosely based on the concept of merging the Noah's Ark story, Animal Ark is a game where you must relocate as many animals as you can to safer lands. You work with professors and scientists to do research and relocate animals, with gameplay very much inspired by Pokemon, Stardew Valley, and most of all Bugsnax (our favorite game). I have had great help from Shaun Spalding, who is a great tutorial maker. Since then I've been able to independently make progress on the game.
Development Progress:
Currently, I've set the tone to be an alpha-like state, but it's fully playable in the sense that you can do a few tasks, interact and catch animals, and more.
What I'm Looking For:
I'm specifically seeking feedback on bugs and feature requests. I would appreciate any feedback, as it is really hard to gauge what people want without them trying the game themselves.
You can play Animal Ark right now by following this link:
