Welcome!

This is an random generated open world gta-like game with simple building and rpg mechanics.Ive been working on this for slightly more than 6 months and am growing tired of the complexity of my own coding. Please leave some feedback about what you liked or disliked to motivate me to finish the game. This is a demo that showcases the general gameplay and is not final. Most missions or things to do might not have proper rewards/endings.

I am also worried about the fps since there is a lot going on. Please let me know what fps_real you have in top left corner and your pc specs, if you dont mind.

Story:

A mysterious alien race has landed on the planet and have started to consume everything that lives.A greedy organisation called The Syndicate have been harnessing alien energy to strengthen their hold over goverment forces. You were hurt during the invasion and was sent to a scientist that patches you up and gives you a mission. To gather alien energy and to crush the aliens using high tech gadgets. You will cooperate with a small team to stop the invaders and put an end to the syndicate's plans.

Features:-Randomly generated areas (cities, forests, suburbs and more biomes)-Open ended gameplay-Day and night cycle and weather system (Clouds/Rain/Wind)-Weapons (pistol, silencer, revolver, uzi, assault rifle, ak47, sniper, rpg, grenade launcher, plasma rifle, plasma shock)-Items (grenades, sonic grenades, keys, shovel, kevlar vests)-Police wanted system-Syndicate controlled areas (you will be attacked if you trespass)-Multiple side quests (taxi, escort, lost item, race, vehicle recovery)-Aliens ( 5 unique alien types )-A mini boss once you destroy a pearl-Resource gathering (wood, stone, tools, cash, power cells)-Building/Orders ( repair centers, garage, home, air strikes )-Different cars / motorcycle / boats /choppers-Specialized hovertank that is a beast to use-Everything is destructible-Multiple shops (food, weapon, hardware, hospitals)

Controls are available in game.Enjoy

Thank you

Hey KahrabaaX,

I gave your game a try

The game ran around 55 FPS for me.  My laptop isn't great.  4 GB of ram.

Things I liked:
- The art style is cool.  I love how you gave depth to a top down game
- The randomly generated world is really good
- The basic controls like gunplay and driving felt good
- I had a great moment where I started fighting aliens and the police showed up and helped me fight

Things that could use work:
- A few times the map generated in a strange way.  For example a wall was created in front of the entrance of a building
- The NPCs acted strange.  Mainly in cars.  They frequently drove off road and ran into buildings
- Even though the game ran fine everything felt slow

Very cool ideas you are working with.  I'm impressed with what you've accomplished in 6 months.  Awesome job!

Thanks you for trying it out and thanks for the feedback!

It can get entertainingly crazy with 3 different sides fighting each other.
Aliens vs Cops vs Syndicate =)

Indeed, I just have been lazy and evading the random generation code after working on general gameplay.

Yeah they can be crazy. I recently made it harder for a car to turn to give them more weight and forgot to adapt the driving ai to that.

Sorry my bad, I uploaded the game to be running at 144hz because of my monitor. Ive set it to 60 now can be changed through the main menu.

Gotta keep working  Hand Joystick
