That pantapon looks awesome, but I won't buy a pcp for it.

I submit this:

They MADE this game, and decided that it just wasn't cool enough for when it was supposed to be released, I think it was the final nail in the coffin for AAA adventure games, my favorite genre at the time.

Oooooh boy I remember that one. What I heard is that not only were adventure games being put on life support by the release date, but also they got some big guy that made some memorable adventure games (can't remember his name, damnit) to look at the game, and he said a lot of stuff would have to be improved before release. They just decided it wasn't worth it.

Well, I'm glad, I am aware they are going through a resurrection right now. Like PC-RPGS did in the late nineties, with Balder's Gate and Fallout.

But you can't honestly admit that Lucas Arts/Sierra Style Adventure games were effectively still alive for like the last 9 years.

I did some digging and the adventure game your company is developing looks cool, there isn't really a ton of hype about it though. The only straight up 'tree pull eh' adventure games that have came out recently, that I can recall off hand, are the Sam and Max episodes.
