There is a distinction between control and power.
Just bossing people around isn't actually my power fantasy. I guess as a kid I dreamed of my army of anime girls, but being in control doesn't make you powerful.
(I can't watch, I'll tear up.)
In Diebuster, Buster machine 7 is capable of controlling a giant billion robot army just by flipping her hair. This is not power, nor a real fantasy that I personally would enjoy. The idea that every minute detail of a person's life has an impact on the stars and the sky and millions of lives sounds like prison because you would have to control yourself so carefully. (Tearing up again.) Every action you take, even scratching your ass, would mean something that could perhaps impact so many humans. This is no fantasy.
Power gets shit done, power makes shit happen, power changes the world for the better. If we marry evil to get power it obviously corrupts us (as in LotR) but if we don't compromise and stay true to the power in our heart that's the win.
The control freaks out there will never be powerful, they will always want more and more control, and there will always be another group to subjugate, and they will always feel like power eludes them despite having control of that giant army.
Why did it take so much work to make it to this post... sigh.

For example, a first person shooter where you have a gun that simply kills all bad guys within 1000KM would be extremely boring, and no one would play, though that does give the main player a lot of power.
Let's talk about this game with the golden bad guy killing gun. Quickly in such a game, (if we were dealing with smart players) the bad guys would stop sending mindless grunts to get blasted away. It would be important to dangle a bad guy with some cache to the player, perhaps some kind of Mephistophelean bad guy who comes bearing gifts if kept alive. As in "if you keep this bad guy alive us heels will help you out in some way." Then you would have an interesting power game: one mad man with his finger on the button, the golden gun that kills all the bad actors, and a bunch of heels trying to convince him that they will bend to the madman's will if just doesn't push the nuke button. You would never get true collaboration in this situation: "No body cares HOW it works as long as it works."

If one was committed to being a paragon of virtue, they would use the nuke gun every few minutes like a fidget spinner because why compromise with evil... right? Then whoever remains is truly virtuous and worthy.
... or would that just be wandering through the desert alone.
I WALK ALONE (proceeds to walk with a bunch of band mates.)

I've used the argument "Because I said so." but I didn't feel powerful when doing so. Indeed, a true power fantasy of mine is to do away with that crappy line of reasoning.
I've mentioned a conception of God as the mediator of competing wills. If that were the case, he wouldn't be doing his job well.

Article about how much Josh Brolin gets paid.According to this article, it seems like even people who make hits are mostly broke. Which is enlightening. I've heard this from people like Paul Giamati who didn't get a "real" paycheck till he was in some Disney thing, even though for Howard Stern's movie he was brilliant. I guess being powerful enough to demand to get paid for doing some big project is some kind of power fantasy too.

Sadly, as you can tell by most actors, knowing the business is not the same as mastering it. The virtue of ignorance: I bet a lot of Hollywood types think they made it because they are really talented. Lmao.

This game is basically Flappy Bird, which was a remake of that old Atari game Lunar Lander. Those are definitional for games designed for masochists, games where making one small mistake punishes you a ton. It is a popular genera that a lot of gamers like, having to get frame perfect input and strict rules on how to beat the game. It can be very satisfying for a lot of players who crave that.
However, it is, in essence, the opposite of a power fantasy. To feel powerful the system needs to react to the player, not the player having to submit to a system.
But you probably didn't want to engage with the topic here and just wanted to promote your game. Good luck.

It was created because someone in a Discord channel said "Flappy Blade" — and I took this offhand comment INCREDIBLY seriously Unlike flappy bird, you control a whole flock of birds at once, and instead of going for as long as possible, you have 1500 meters to get to the end and escape, so it has an ending. Those are my innovations.

I'm sorry you are offended to be compared to flappy bird. I'll say your game is very different if that moves the conversation forward.
Still, in your very different game, you are heavily punished for making small mistakes, so it is the opposite of a power fantasy. In a power fantasy, you can do what you want and that's the way it is. The powerful get what they want. Your *multiple* birds are quite weak, one hit kills them, and they are constantly at the whim of the saw blades and other obstacles in the environment. These birds are in no way powerful, but if it makes you feel better, the game is totally original.

You could say that it's a power fantasy for the flock of birds, in that they are striving through a US BIOLAB HELL to gain their freedom and independence from torture and slavery

would you say "power" is "not being tortured?"
I would call that a basic right all creatures should have, not power.
Edit: If you are stuck in Hell, and the devil is burning and torturing you and so on, but you escape and get a job cleaning toilets for minimum wage so you can't even afford healthcare or decent food, is that a power fantasy?
Yes, you did better than being in Hell, I'm sure everyone in Hell would take that deal if they were offered it, but it's not exactly a power fantasy.
To someone who lost their legs, walking is a "power fantasy." To me, we all deserve to be able to use our legs. There I go talking about what people deserve.

It's a power fantasy because in reality these birds would have very little chance of escaping. It's also a very hard game, so most players will have a difficult time as well. But just by playing it, in each run, you are fantasizing that this will be the time you escape with a bird or two
