Looking forward to it! I really liked Star Guard, so I'm kinda hyped.

CAsinclair: thanks, though I would caution that this is a much smaller, much sillier game than Star Guard Done so far today: - fixed some issues with keyboard and mouse control of buttons
- mode select UI
- UI for time trial mode
- in game timer for time trial mode
- results UI for time trial mode

Silly is great! :D Also, I just noticed the goblins look a bit like the Jinjos from Banjo-Kazooie.

Here's a further update on work completed today: - continue screen
- abort + continue options
- muting on losing focus
- more giant food scenery
- map touch up
Things progressed pretty well today. If I can keep this up, I'll be done by Friday.

Man, I love your pixel-art retro look. Brings back such happy memories of Commodore 64 games, etc.

My apologies for being behind schedule. All told, things have been going pretty well. I think my work habits are improving a bit. I guess habits don't change overnight- there have been a couple of hiccups- but I've completed a lot of the things on the list: - new menu screens which are spaces in which we walk around (see below)
- animated map between courses
- more transitions between existing UI screens
- more scenery
- little stuff (like grass tufts that kick up when we jump)
This is the new fall themed main menu- we control the little knight and can run and jump around and kick up leaves. Menu options are selected by pressing the confirm button when standing over them. This is the new time trial screen. The little people with signs award a rank for each time. Hearts are reserved for very good times.

Awesome. I love main menus that let you interact instead of clicking.

Dear readers, I have been abducted by my Assemblee entry. Rest assured that I will finish this up as soon as my captor lets me go home to my family. Untitled Dungeon Crawler

I like that. I imagine the knight on his horse galloping towards the castle on his horse
