Post examples of indies being chill, cool, friendly, holding the ladder down for others and being champs who help other devs.

I'll start, Sid Meier was super nice to me for an internship I had, and he called me into his office and explained that "Ghandi had to be an asshole or else it wouldn't be fun to obliterate him." That line stuck with me to this day. A real champ, Sid is. I wish I had stayed at the company there longer. I just saw a picture and they have like 20 interns now, lmao, they are helping so many devs.
