While graphically, the game has a nice style to it, there's a lot of work needed for the gameplay to work.
I played on itch.io through the browser, and there's a few things I'll comment on:
- When starting the game, clicking the chest just dumps a bunch of orbs into the inventory without much room for explaination
- The camera POV is zoomed way too far in, making it unclear what's going on. You need some kind of dynamic camera system so the player is always visible
- Not enough feedback when reaching the end of a level. You need some sounds, some effects, some text, etc
You've got a very unique idea here and it's going to require a tutorial to get players on board. As it stands right now, I wasn't able to get into the game at all. Try introducing the orbs one at a time, guiding the experience so by the end a player can understand how to play.
