Hello fellow devs. I am working on multiple games simultaneously & developing tutorials for them as a part of my documentation & for running my website. These are breakdown & tutorials for creating 2D platformer game. I have tons of other game tutorials on the website such as making side-scrolling shooter & infinite runner.

Part 1: making character controller
Other parts continue from that post.

I hope you'll like it & I am looking for feedback if the tutorials are helpful or not.

I wrote a tutorial on gerstner waves ocean shader for realistic ocean rendering. This shader has very well defined gerstner wave function, and a fragment shader to make the overall water effect look nice.

I hope you'll like it & looking for your feedback on the work!

I published my godot inventory system tutorial, in which I implemented grid inventory for Godot engine 4.3. The design of inventory is modular so it is extendible inventory system. Hope you'll find it helpful. All questions & feedback is appreciated.

Here is how the output looks like:

Hi everyone!

I made a tutorial about marching cubes. It's a way to create 3D shapes from a grid of points. I found other tutorials too hard to understand, so I made my own that's easier.

I used GDScript for the code, which is a programming language for the Godot game engine. But don't worry, the code is simple and you can use it in other engines too.

Let me know if you have any questions or feedback. And if you like my tutorial, please support me so I can make more!

I created godot RTS camera that moves, rotates, panning and drag based on mouse motion and zooming events. It is modular so you can re-use it in your games.
