I'm looking for some advice on an idea. I want to develop gaming peripherals such as LED shot clocks with buzzers, game clocks, goal air horns, etc. that interact with sports games. Is this possible? Are those signals available to drive the peripheral? Many thanks. If so, let's team up!

It is possible to make such things work with a PC for example, but to hook it into a game that already exists you would need to do some hacking. It would be difficult to get info from something like an XBOX game that wasn't explicitly designed for your peripheral.

That being said, a programmable LED clock that someone could modify via a scripting interface is a product I can't find on Amazon, and there are a lot of people who would love to have a toy like that.
