Hi Guys!

Star Vortex is a hobby project I've been working on in my free time for years, trying to combine my love of single-player space shooters with classic ARPG item systems and skill trees.

Although I plan on selling it when we enter Early Access the full game (as it stands) can be played for free by downloading our demo on Steam.

Hey ZorgUK,

I played your game

What I liked:
- The game looks very pretty
- The tutorial is pretty good
- The game is a lot of fun
- Everything controls well and I didn't see any issues
- There were a few moments that felt awesome.  I was in a dog fight where my opponent fired several slow moving tracking missiles.  I turned on turret mode and shot the missiles down behind me.  It felt amazing!

What could use some work:
- I felt like quitting after about 30 minutes.  I'm trying to put my finger on why.  Every combat encounter felt very similar to me.  Maybe a level where you fly through a space wreck?  Maybe a combat encounter in a nebula where visibility is limited?

It's awesome game!  You've done a great job.

Those are some good ideas. Sad to hear you felt like quitting, we're working on a more engaging story-line and some more encounter variety now though so hopefully that will help.
