I desperately need feedback on this. On one hand, I really like the idea, but on the other hand, I understand that "one-button arcade" is not the most popular genre nowadays. So I'm not sure if it is worth continuing to develop such a game. I mean, I don't want to waste several years on a game that no one wants to play. And that's why I really need your feedback, guys.
This is how the game looks:

You can download the demo here:

So far there are no music and cutscenes, but collectibles, extra-stages and the first mini-game are already implemented, so I hope you'll get the idea.

Any feedback is welcome, but I'd like to hear what do you think about the controls and the game difficulty in general.

I think it's pretty fun, but the controls are a bit unclear. I didn't realize the girl moved in the direction of the circle until around the 3rd level, but that could just be a me problem.

The visuals are simplistic, but I really like it. I don't think pixelart needs to be super detailed to look appealing, and the design of the protagonist and enemies are cute. It kinda reminds me of Kirby Super Star's spritework but a little less saturated.

The controls (once you get the hang of them) are pretty responsive, and I haven't encountered any bugs so far. It has a nice level of polish that I can definitely appreciate, I'll keep an eye on this if you continue work on it!  Hand Thumbs Up LeftSmiley

Thank you! To be honest, I posted links to the demo everywhere I could, but only 5 people actually played it, so... I think I'll just start making another game.
