Hello!  I hear that many people make video games!

If so, this link may be helpful!  It is a thoughtful and insightful look at some of the processes that go into designing main characters for games!

Main Character Creation Tutorial

My personal favorite was "Fury Courtslam", just because he was the best developed (and was too extreme for MS word!) but I have to confess, he is given a run for his money by "Bleak Worldview Jones" and "Sandra Day O'Knifehands"....

I personally really liked Whiskey Sardonic. I imagine a game with him should feature two buttons dedicated solely to drinking and one-liners. One could even use procedural generation to make said one-liners! Timing your one-liner perfectly after a swig is the key to getting the best score!

I remember how bad SNES and Genesis games were at this back in the day, with all the mascot characters and product placements those games had.  I remember getting Bubsy II, where the major selling point was that one of the pickups was a Nerf­­­® gun.

I have to admit, looking over the slide of "sample names", I was thinking "those would make awesome springboards for a compo".  But I didn't suggest it, because I don't want to turn into the "guy who suggests everything should be a compo"   Gentleman
