Here's some more coming up:

Ludum Dare 15
http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/

RPGDX Side Scrolling RPG
http://forums.rpgdx.net/viewtopic.php?t=2237

Klik of the Month
http://www.glorioustrainwrecks.com/node/358

The Klik one is a 2 hour affair.  Dunno how that'd work with anything but Klik & Play.  They do allow other development tools though.

I use Construct. Others have used Game Maker, Processing, ZZT, Twine, and probably other tools that I'm forgetting.

Hello this is Pencerkoff

Although I think it should be over here, we do have an updating list of compos over in the indie games forum.

As Pencerkoff said.

Also, I'm keep my eye on the RPGDX one. Platformer RPGs are always fun.

@Pencerkoff

Can you provide a link to said forum and topic?  A running watch list for compos would be great!

Ludum Dare is on its 3rd vote for a theme.  Looks like Burrowing, Caverns and Castles are popular..

It's a sticky in the Indie Games board here: http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=3972.0

Increpare left and returned with a new account, so I'm not sure if he can update the first post anymore.
