Apparently it got him fired from Gamespot due to the conflict with the fact that the whole site is plastered with Kane & Lynch advertisments.

From what I understand, the writing was on the wall, with his weird attitude and how he reviewed games. But the reason why they ultimately let him go is shady and makes me want to avoid gamespot entirely.

I've heard that he gave Tony Hawks a 10 out of 10. While it is a surprisingly good game, that's probably a little high, heh. But what does it really matter? It's the content of the review he should be judged for, not that increasingly meaningless number tacked on to the end of it. It's so crazy that a game that gets "6 out of 10" is considered a "bad" game.

But I guess that's kind of a side issue.
