Open Canvas is a painting program from crazy japanese or korean or some other slit-eyed people that's mostly used to make cheesy animu pictures with loads of dodge effects! But that's not all! The first version of Open Canvas had in fact MULTIPLAYER FUNCTIONALITY! And it was free! So get yerself some open canvas from here! (just in case here's another place where you can download it) And then find yourself an internet friend and ask him (or her! if you dare!) out on a DRAWING DATE! And then share the event file (oh yes! I Forgot! Open Canvas records your drawing process!) Post here if you're ronery! I am : ( So who wants to draw with me? <3 (P.S. If the program seems to be in martian or some other unidentified language you should probably click the rightmost dropdown menu and select "English") edit: We have discovered DIE ENDLĂ–SUNG for hosting problems! Want to host!? Can't cause oc is fucking you over? Get your artsy pals to jump on to hamachi! http://hamachi.en.softonic.com/Then everybody should join the host on the ip that hamachi has assigned him/her. And that's that! Network id: tigsource oc password: tigsource

I have a good "free" copy laying around here somewhere. Anyways, I'm totally game for some OC! It's been a while since I used it last time I worked with SolidIdea on this bad boy. (click the image for youtube video of it being drawn)

You know what? I've tried using OC to draw with other people for so long. I only got to do it successfully, like, 3 times. Every time afterwards resulted in error messages mostly comprised of question marks and zeros. I'd really like to draw with my buddies again, but I CAN'T. And if anyone could help, that'd be great, but I've tried so many times I've lost all hope. And before anyone suggests it, Hamachi didn't help either.

A buddy on youtube mentioned he had a hack that allowed for more users to connect at once more reliably. I gave him a message and linked him here, hopefully he can help out with some OC tweaking.

I set up a server!
217.159.146.230
There's room for three but oc occasionally has problems with more than two people. But sometimes not. Come join me! I'll be idling away until I get tired or someone hops in, just say hello in the chat and if I don't reply I'm probably in the toilet or something.

I didn't know OC was capable of such awesomeness.
Sweet pics. I'll try to join in some time.

I forgot one of the problems with OC. When someone new joins the chat, they don't see what the others have drawn. Unless they are given the "replay" of what has been drawn they come into a blank canvas, even though the other artists see what they've been doodling.

If you want more than 4 people in a server, you could try using the N-SoCS addon. I think it allows a stable session up to 7 or 8 people.
