Hello everyone,

I would like to announce the launch of www.indiegamevideos.com .
Like the name suggests the site deals with indie and casual games, focused on showcasing every single game with a gameplay video.
I hope this makes browsing games an enjoyable experience, and will spare people the hurdle of downloading demos with next to no previous knowledge.
The initial lineup contains about 50 titles, with new games being added on a regular basis.

Aside from trying to get the site known, I am also posting because I would be happy to get in touch with developers who would be interested in having their games featured on IndieGameVideos.com. The preconditions for that are an available demo version, and the game has to be available through an affiliate enabled e-commerce site such as Plimus or RegNow.

So, I hope you will enjoy browsing the site and watching some videos Smiley
Any feedback or tips are very welcome.

Sorry Guert, I obviously missed that before, but made up for it now.
dposse > Thanks a lot! Didn`t know StumbleUpon, but I am glad you added the site there:)

What is wrong with youtube+tigsource db or youtube+pixel prospector?

it seems quite redundant, as those sites either host previews or link to them. vimeo host them just like youtube..

it's just a hassle to go to any video site and tigdb, indie games blog, and pixel prospector, RPS, etc.

but I can't argue really, the more exposure the better. but those sites i mentioned are quite old except for pixel prospector

i wish you all the luck in the world of course!  Gentleman just keep it updated Wink

I can see your point, but I don`t think it`s redundant. The sites you mentioned are huge, covering everything about indie games like news, previews, betas, background info etc., and of course also videos and releases. There`s no point (nor intention) in trying to challenge that.
What I am trying to do is offering a smaller but therefore exactly defined selection.
Every game is featured with a video and a demo, there are no exceptions. I hope people visiting the site have fun checking out the games, watching the vids, grabing demos if they like something, and possibly go for a purchase eventually...without ever being forced into researching a game of interest because there is no demo, or no released version, or whatever. Probably it`s more tailored towards the casual gamer.

Oh well, just felt the urge to explain my intentions, I hope it makes some sense.

And a bit of luck is always needed and welcome, thanks;)

Hey I think it's good, and actually the games you've got featured on there are games I wasn't aware of (but look really nice). Sort of like gametrailers.com but for indie games. It works!

Thanks PsySal:) GT for indie games sounds nice, and probably describes it better than my wall of text above.
