I just finished a game with two friends, it's for iPhone.
I'm proud of our achievement, just trying to get it out there,
we don't have much of a marketing budget.  Sad

Youtube footage of Gameplay

The basic premise of our game is as follows:

2D side scrolling shooter.

you are the Attack Force Agent! it's your job to defend 3 hapless
civilians who have been kidnapped as they try to get to safety.
Upgradeable weapons such as pistols, machine guns, sniper rifles,
shot guns, and grenades are at your disposal to protect these
defenseless civilians. 2 difficulty settings 2 control methods
and Open feint functionality.

Lot's of Humerous 2d art with 80's retro Arcade action.

That's pretty neat, seems perfect for touch-screen control - I guess you shoot by touching the target on the screen, right?

Seeing stuff like this makes me wanna live in the 80's, in an arcade hall Smiley
Or have an iPod Touch.

Thanks DimJimma

Man if I can go back through my child hood and remake and or make better
all the classics, I think my life would be complete.
God the Arcades were awesome,
and i think they meet the casual market just nicely.
addictive, with pick up and play tendencies, visually attractive and a fun
experience.  That's what I tried to capture with Attack Force.
I hope you guys and Gals like it.

The vocals for the sounds when he picks up the guns reminds me of Metal Slug.

it's kind of like a light gun game, mixed with lemmings? awesome.

the "hostage/civilians who you protect" are each motivated differently.
All of their reactions are based off negative feedback, so say if the cheerleader
gets hurt in some way her reaction will be to run away and she has high movement
speed and is erratic unpredictable making it hard to protect her.
while the crusty old tradesman will chase down and punch enemies who take
a potshot at him.
I had alot of fun with this game as did my partners  Smiley
