My friends over at The Behemoth Community told me about Spelunky, but as I didn't have Winzip to download it, I couldn't try it out. Lips Sealed
But one day, I got Winzip and remembered Spelunky, and gave it a go.
Spelunky was AWESOME. WTF
I'd never heard of this rare species of game:
A good game that joo can actually download!
That's why I like this website.
So anyways, good job with Spelunky. Hand Clap

The controls are a bit annoying to manage (expecially because enemies tend to be pretty fast), but I'm just not that experienced with arcade controls. Beside this, I like the blurry effects. Also, change the player to something... more visible like green or so. Makes it a bit clearer to look at after a while.

I've updated this to version 2.

changes:
trees added
camera system added
effects improved
highscores added
controls made a bit more flexible
difficulty lessened slightly
various other changes

I will add sounds and music and possibly other updates soon.

Additional feedback is much appreciated

High score 23700. Droop

I found it difficult to control, given that everything including the player was blurred, and a single touch meant death. There didn't seem to be a logical point to jumping, other than ending up in a swarm of enemies and dead.
I was initially frustrated by the inability to shoot up or down, even though enemies would come from those directions, but I was quickly glad that I couldn't.

Despite my citation of frustrations, I thought it was pretty neat.

Thanks.
Jumping is actually quite useful and I daresay necessary. I am surprised that you got to 23700 without doing it

I've updated this with music, online highscores, and various other things
