Hello there!

First of all, excuse me if I'm using the wrong forum to do this. I'm totally new to the site.

(copy/paste from "Introduce Yourself" thread)

My name is John R., and I'm a Computer Science III student from Spain. I've been a hardcore gamer since my parents first bought me a NES.  I started making games much later, at the age of 15, and same goes for music composing. I have worked on 20+ small game projects , but nothing too serious, until now.

Nowadays, I'm really interested in the indie game making field. I'm studying graphic techniques as much as I can, and creating script-based visual effects and in-game-physics.

Why I'm here? I'm looking for a partner, a graphic artist, to create a game with, and yeah... im open to whatever ideas you have! ^_^

If someone's interested, send me a PM or post here

Thanks for the reply. I don't have at hand many of my programs,... but i can share with you a gallery of what i've done. Most of them are simple console-based programs, made under Linux, and in university (just for fun) : Space invaders clone, text rpgs, minesweeper clone, breakout clone, pong clone, etc...  Others are experimentation into the world of graphics. Here are screens of the most significative

Some sort of 4-in-a-row game. Done to learn about graphics effects.

Simple columns clone using numbers (Lack of graphics)

3d wave-function generator. Scientific program.

New-retro SHMUP. Environment is pseudo 3d, generated via math formulas. Im planning to  generate randomly all the environments.

I have programming experience in the following languages : PASCAL, C++, C, Blitz Max and BASIC.

And, in case you're curious of my experience as a musician, I've made the music for this game : http://www.thefarwilds.com/ . And you can check some of my videogame music remixes at my OCremix profile http://ocremix.org/artist/4790/john-revoredo

I'm an artistic jack of all trades who could use a programmer to team up with. I do traditional, 2d, 3d art and animation. I use mostly photoshop, illustrator, and 3ds max. I'm also an accomplished musician and am currently the composer for the semi-popular web series "There Will be Brawl" (a dark comedy based off of the Nintendo franchise). I'm always full of game ideas and am currently in between projects.

Here's some work:

I'm looking for a programmer for a retarded-zombie-shooter-platformer game (which you can see in the DevLogs section.)

You can see some of my art here:http://omnimuffin.deviantart.com/
