I find that the music goes pretty well with the tiles/world you've created. The music is peaceful even if it's a bit generic. I could see myself playing that game!

The enemy animation is very nice but I feel that the smoke cloud on landing is a bit "strong".

Actually now that I think about it, the song does match with the tiles. How odd. Perhaps I was too harsh in my criticisms then. At least, about my comments of the direction or theme of the song anyway.

Do tile variations help?

I think I'll do something similar with the ground.

that's it!

Are these any good for ground variations?

For the music, I'm not really sure what kind of volume to go for; is this too quiet?

Looks pretty good to me. Are those mushrooms intended to be a part of the foreground?

Should I switch so curvy trees?

EDIT:

Also thinking about making the inner leaf tile be lighter like this4
EDIT: Or maybe just have it as a variation like with the ground.

It all looks pretty neat, though in that forest pic, it's a bit hard to discern back and foreground.

I think you should stick with the old ones. They just look better (well, to my eyes anyway).

The background needs to be a lot darker than the foreground. Give it some contrast. Right now my eyes can't tell which is the foreground and which is the background. It's kinda jarring.

That big landscape last page is still a little hard on the eyes. Maybe use a less neon shade of green and some colors with softer contrast?
