Uh, wait, where's the patches of light brown dirt? I really liked that bit.

Oh, it's just the screenshot that mr. mnml had posted modified. Don't worry; they're still there.

Now, I'd rather you move on for variety, but if you're still poking at this:

I think the reason the background and foreground were blending together so much was because of the black outlines. If only foreground tiles had black outlines (high contrast) and the background tiles had coloured outlines (same colour as the fill -- low contrast), then there would be much better separation.

Weird rolling mushroom thing?

Frames 2 and 3 are it trying to squeese into a ball.

Probsbly not going to do much with this style anymore, but there may be some buildings and stuff if I get around to it.

Ok, it finally uploaded. My internet is going crazy at the moment (I'm losing it every minute or so D: )

Made some changes to tiles. Not completely sure about changing the black tiles but because the black tile I was using before is still there it's the programmers choice really.

I haven't updated this stuff to the tileset yet, just want some thoughts :/

Got bored and made a sprite generator. I guess you could use these as shmup ships?

Fantastic tileset!

How about clouds (foreground probably, but you could also make background clouds). So for use as platforms and as scenery if you make a background version too.

Generated some weird alien people or whatever they are :p

I may work on a proper charater generator with 4 directional sprites (This one just used a different template for the shmup sprite generator)
