Long time lurker, first time poster!  It's a weird sort of breathless nerd dream to be able to contribute a game to these forums finally.  I've been working on this concept for about a year, but I recently switched from Unreal Engine 3 to Unity3D.  In one month with Unity, I surpassed all of the work I did in Unreal.  It's at the point now where I feel like showing people!  Hooray for that.

The game is, literally, a first person shooter. You are an embedded photojournalist with the most powerful weapon of all: the truth. The pictures you take become resources that can be sold, used to blackmail your enemies, and curry favors in a world where everybody but you is trained to use a gun.

As it happens, the most current version is up on the IMMUNITY competition web site at http://musegames.com/community/immunitychallenge/ (if you want to vote for "War Photographer" I am a gold-star-craving creative type and it would make me happy).  I'm obviously super biased, but I think the game has sweet potential.  If you're interested at all in following the development, which will continue regardless of the IMMUNITY contest outcome, I'll be posting new iterations about once every couple weeks on my blog http://www.Bentropy.com
