saddened by the lack of a truly beautiful 4x5 pixel font i created "Elegante Pixel",
use it in your games and have pwnsome pixel typography.

it's a basic version, covering the minimum characters for games.

it is, however, very beautiful.

download rev0 (uppercase, some special characters)

Wow. This really captures what our letters are about. Can't get simpler (without getting harder to read) than that, I guess.

But... shouldn't the Q be kind of flattened out? I mean... that one pixel is sticking out at the bottom.

yes, couldn't have said it any better. for it's ultra-low resolution it is a very telling font.
now i just have to convince the teachers in typography class of this Wink

the q.. hm... could make a flat out q, but it would be 5x5. in either case i break the 4x5 grid.
