Update, Well, made water tiles with animation, a character walking, and the chest opening, also made some more tiles:

This looks like it's from something I would have played in 1992, in DOS, with Apogee slapped on it so it's not awful at all. Keep it up boy-ee.

the reason your roof looks funny is the shading implies a corner on the roof, but the wall of the house doesn't have a corner, so the roof would either be twisted 45 degrees compared to the house, or you didn't notice that mistake.  Smiley

I can see what you mean.. will try something different later.
Made some castle tiles, and made the tree not so happy with it.

the first mockup reminds me of yoshi's story. i love it. really great stuff.

Just move the trunk to the right by a few pixels, and it should look balanced.

Great tileset! I was trying to do some mockups with it to test it out, and my biggest problem is that there are not any tiles that are just the plain earth-brown shades. Could you basically just include these guys (and the other two shades of dark brown) so I can have some clean space in the earth without tesselating dots?

No problem, I guess what I mean is, I would like a tile that is the color of the ground, but just plain. Exactly like the two tiles I posted. In the tileset you created there's no "plain" ground tile so I can't create a big patch of the same color.
